Our Founder
Cameron Fuqua is the Owner of The Fuqua Firm, a law firm dedicated to providing top-notch legal services to small businesses, community associations, municipalities, unions, and not-for-profit corporations in Florida and West Virginia.
With a diverse background of knowledge and experience Cameron Fuqua is poised to assist a wide array of clients and varied legal situations. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Northern Iowa. He also earned his Juris Doctorate from Florida State University, where he served as a mock trial judge, earned a business law certificate, and was a member of the entertainment and sports law society.
He began his career during law school as an intern for the Florida Department of Management Services, where he gained critical insight into the operation of State Agencies. He also worked for the Florida Innocence Project and was instrumental in the evaluation of dozens of potential exonerees. After that, he worked with the international law firm of Foley and Lardner, in their Government & Public Policy Division, with a primary focus on government procurement. After law school Cameron gained extensive experience in personal injury prior to starting his own practice. He has since developed a substantial community association practice in Florida, and has represented well over 100 community associations from Pensacola to Gainesville.
As an Air Force Veteran, a certified BBQ judge, and a local youth soccer coach, Cameron has a long history of community involvement. He is currently a member of the Panama City Chamber of Commerce and a coach for Bay United Soccer Club where he has funded a robust scholarship program for numerous local youth athletes.
Cameron’s unique combination of diverse background, professional experience, and strong community involvement have driven his legal career and has been a tremendous benefit to hundreds of individuals and small businesses in Florida and West Virginia.
